This is how we increase your income
The purpose of Gastronett is to help restaurants increase their revenue. We do this in three ways:
- We bring you new guests through the "VIP Membership" service
- We help you provide better and faster service to your guests and reduce strain on waitstaff through the "QR Service" solution
- We help you bring back previous guests more often through the "Smart Pricing" and "Punch Card" services
These solutions we offer
VIP Membership
Guests can subscribe to a membership, e.g. 99 NOK/month, which gives 5-15% discount on food and drinks. The discount may also include alcohol, provided it applies to the
entire selection (
source).
As a member, the guest receives an immediate and attractive price reduction and is incentivized to return. We handle everything, including marketing, payments, and customer service, so you can focus on operations.
QR Service
When the guest scans the QR code on the table, several options appear, e.g. "I want to see the menu", "I want to order now", "I want the bill", "I would like another beer", etc.
Customers receive better and faster service, and for the restaurant it means much less walking back and forth, less physical strain, lower turnover, more tips, and increased revenue.
Smart Pricing Loyalty Program
The more often a guest purchases a specific dish/group, the more discount they receive, within selected days/times, measured over
a chosen period. For example: "Get 5% extra discount for each visit in the last 30 days (only applies to large pizza, weekdays before 2 PM)". We place a QR code stand on
each table so guests can register with email and mobile number. The waiter scans the guest's QR code to register a visit and to see what discount they have accumulated.
Classic Punch Card
When the guest has purchased a certain number of a specific dish/group within a given time period, they get the next one
free. For example: "Get every 7th pizza free (measured over the last 90 days, weekdays before 2 PM only)". We place a QR code stand on
each table so guests can register with email and mobile number. The waiter scans the guest's QR code to register what they have purchased and whether they are entitled to a free item.
Documented effect on revenue and profit
Loyalty programs are highly effective for restaurants as they increase both visit frequency and average spending per guest. Studies
show that loyal members on average visit restaurants 20% more often and spend 20% more per visit compared to non-members

- Increased profitability: A 5% increase in customer loyalty can increase profits by anywhere from 25% to 95%. It is also 5-25 times more expensive to acquire a new customer than to retain an existing one.
- Changed consumer behavior: As many as 66% of customers adjust their spending to maximize points or benefits. In addition, 78% say they are more likely to visit a restaurant where they can earn points, even if it is less conveniently located.
- Higher orders: Restaurants with mobile-responsive loyalty programs have experienced an increase in customer spending of up to 60%.
- Better marketing: Loyal customers act as ambassadors; 73% say they would recommend a restaurant with a good loyalty program to others.

Winback, distribution of small gift cards
We send out small gift cards (25-100 NOK) with a short expiration time to guests who haven't visited you in a while. You decide which dishes/groups the gift card applies to, as well as which days/times it is valid.
For example: "Congratulations! You have now received a 50 NOK gift card from us! Valid for pizza only, expires tomorrow at 2 PM"

Last minute
If you have a lot of available capacity right now (or no-show tables), you can publish a "Last minute" deal (at least 25% discount) to quickly attract new
customers. We promote your deal via Facebook and send it to our registered users.

Group events
We set up events that take place in the restaurant and handle promotion, registration, payment, etc. Examples include quiz nights, stand-up, courses, dating events, bingo, wine/beer/food tastings, etc.

Table reservations with/without deposit
No-shows are a major problem for many restaurants, and we are soon launching a good solution. The guest has two choices: either
pay a deposit and get a guaranteed seat, or choose without a deposit, but then their seat may be given to others
when it starts to fill up. The deposit can range from 10 NOK to 5000 NOK (e.g. May 17th).

Sale of gift cards
Classic full-price gift cards, or discounted gift cards valid for specific dishes/groups within selected days/times

The restaurant offers one dish per day at a very attractive price. The target group is families/groups looking for simple dinner solutions.
